Next Generation Sequencing

DNA for SOLiD™

In general, library preparation of fragmented DNA and ChIP-Seq DNA for use with the SOLiD™ 4 sequencing platform involves repair of 3’ and 5’ ends before ligation to an adaptor. The final step in both workflows is amplification via polymerase chain reaction (PCR). For more information, choose the workflow tab below.

Libraries prepared in this manner are suitable for templated bead preparation, the next step in the SOLiD sequencing workflow.

NEBNext® reagents are available for each step in DNA and ChIP-Seq DNA library preparation workflows for the SOLiD platform. Reagents from NEB are available in a master mix format. Each of these reagents has been functionally validated by preparation of a genomic DNA and ChIP-Seq DNA followed by SOLiD sequencing.
