The standard workflow for DNA sequencing on an Ion Torrent™ sequencer begins with end repair of the 3´and 5´ends, adaptor ligation, size-selection of adaptor-ligated molecules, and PCR amplification. Refer to the DNA Preparation Workflow for Ion Torrent tab below for a graphic illustration of the steps.
Once the adaptor-ligated molecules are amplified, they are ready for template preparation, the next step towards Ion Torrent sequencing.
NEBNext® reagents are available for each of the above described steps, including the fragmentation step. All NEBNext products are functionally validated, both as single reagents and by generating an Ion Torrent library.
