FAQ: How is the Δ Ribosome Kit E3313S different from the PURExpress E6800S kit?

The PURExpress Δ Ribosome kit was designed to satisfy the needs of labs studying translation that use their own ribosomes. In the PURExpress Δ Ribosome Kit, the supplied control ribosomes are enough for two reactions. The other kit components are sufficient for 10 reactions. We strongly recommend that when using your own ribosomes, you titer the amount needed for optimal protein translation in the PURExpress reaction.
