FAQ: Are NEBNext® products validated in Next Generation Sequencing workflows?

Yes. DNA kits are validated by preparation of a genomic DNA library followed by sequencing on the appropriate platform: Illumina®, Ion Torrent™, 454™ or SOLID™ 4. RNA kits are validated by preparation of a library from an accepted RNA reference sample followed by sequencing on the appropriate platform: Illumina, Ion Torrent, 454 or SOLID 4. Sequencing validation is performed every time a new lot of any kit component is introduced.
