We recommend the use of NEB 10-beta/Stable Outgrowth Medium with NEB 10-beta chemically competent (NEB #C3019) and electrocompetent (NEB #C3020K) E. coli, as well as with NEB Stable chemically competent E. coli (NEB #C3040). NEB 10-beta/Stable Outgrowth Medium ensure high transformation efficiency when used with these competent E. coli strains. Please do not use SOC Outgrowth Medium, as will see decreased efficiencies.
